We got ourselves an intern!

Naya has been lucky enough to get a new member, say hello to Hedda who will be all over the place working as our intern these next few months! 🚀 She is a ray of sunshine, handling all tasks with great enthusiasm and never afraid to try something new!

So since we at Naya love to hear about peoples motivation and drive, we thought why not share Hedda’s journey as an inspiration to always explore to find your true passion.

🎤  Passing the mic to our newest addition, Hedda;

When reflecting back on my childhood, I had a lot of thoughts about what I wanted to do when i grew up. I wanted to be a princess and a pop star, but most of all I wanted to be “a woman in a suit”. Whilst growing up I was always a curious child; “what’s that?”, “why’s that?” “how’s that?” … I wanted an answer to anything - and if there were no answers, well, I’d figure it out on my own.

This mentality has been with my for all of my 22 years. I have a huge love for exploring, finding answers and new ways of thinking, and am always looking for new challenges to conquer. With time I’ve grown up and gone to the “tough school of life” (as we say in Norway), where I’ve learnt that my most valued time is time well spent outside of my comfort zone. Self improvement is always a prioritized task in my everyday life, within anything and everything I’m up to.

In june of 2023 I got my bachelor of science in nursing from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. This means that if I wanted to have that normal everyday job, I could. And I’m sure my family really would of wanted that for me, because of the safety and security in the nursing job marked in Norway. However, safety and security is not what I’m driven by work wise. I want to be challenged, explore the world of opportunities, define solutions and create a meaningful life for myself.

The autum of ´23 and spring of ´24, I´ve spent a lot of time going to different events in the innovative community at NTNU, hosted by the student driven organizations Start NTNU, Spark NTNU and BoostHenne. These events brought me a kind of happiness I’d never before experienced, and a feeling of unity and affiliation I didn’t think possible. Because of this I chose to get in touch with Naya Development this Marc. Naya speaks to me in a very special way, because of their values regarding equality, diversity and opportunities for all. Even though my drive for entrepreneurship is by far my biggest motivator, these values are firmly rooted in the heart of a nurse. ❤️‍🔥

After two coffee meetings with Co-Founders Nora and Eirin, I finally got offered an internship at Naya. Nothing can ever beat that happiness, that pride and that feeling of being seen and acknowledged as an aspiring entrepreneur. Thanks to the amazing team at Naya, who chose to believe in me, I now get the opportunity to learn from people who have walked my path before me and challenge myself every single day. I get to prove to myself yet again that I can do whatever I set my mind to - as long as I keep putting in the work to grow into the person I aspire to become.

Let this be your motivation to keep working towards your dreams, putting yourself out there and showing the world what you can do! This is just the beginning of the journey for me, and it is absolutely amazing! ⭐️
