The 10th and 11th of April our Co-Founder & CPO Nora and our intern Hedda went to the SHE Conference opening ceremony, pre-SHE and the SHE Conference. We were as lucky as to attend along with BoostHenne, and share the days with amazing people from the innovative community in Trondheim.
The SHE Conference opening ceremony took place at Oslo city hall, where we got to meet new and old friends, and hear inspiring speaches. After the opening ceremony we went straight to the pre-SHE event hosted by Polestar. These two events were a great way of kicking off the Conference and setting the sprit for the following day.
On April 11th Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Jen Lee Koss and Dr. Chelsea Clinton started the Conference, sharing their thoughts on lessons for leadership. Then followed great lectures on communication by Dr. Laura Penn, health equity and sustainable development by first female prime minister in Norway Gro Harlem Brundtland, Dr. Chelsea Clinton & Jon Mørland, and value-based partnerships by Stephen Omollo. It was inspiring and motivating hearing such successful people speak about their journeys, thoughts and knowledge.
We participated at in total four different workshops throughout the Conference. We dedicated our time to learn more about leading in the age of AI, diversity in boards, responsible businesses and personal growth. These workshops were educational and relevant for our further development as a team and as a startup.
These two days were successful, and we got to accomplish different tasks; such as testing hypotheses, identifying target groups and linking with people of interest in ongoing projects at Naya. We were also able to do a lot of team building, which is highly appreciated by both Nora and Hedda.
